Home / Oxygen Concentrator Repair
Medien provides assessment and repair for supported home oxygen concentrators in Malaysia, including enquiries for Philips EverFlo and PAPLAB equipment. Send us the brand, model, serial number and a description of the problem so we can confirm service eligibility and advise the next step.

Is your oxygen concentrator showing a fault?
Contact our service team if you notice an alarm, reduced flow, unusual noise, overheating, a power problem or suspected low oxygen output. Describe when the problem happens and share a photograph of the model label and alarm indicator where possible.
An alarm or symptom does not identify the failed component by itself. Technical assessment helps establish whether repair is appropriate.
Brands and models: check before sending
Ask about Philips Respironics and PAPLAB equipment. For Nidek, Invacare, AirSep, DeVilbiss or another brand, send the exact model first so we can check non-warranty service options and parts support.
For a portable oxygen concentrator, confirm model acceptance before arranging delivery. Acceptance of one model does not mean every device from that brand can be repaired.
What can an oxygen concentrator assessment include?
The assessment depends on the device model, reported fault and agreed service scope. Ask which checks are included in your quotation.
| Assessment area | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Oxygen output and flow | Assessment of output and flow against the applicable model specifications. |
| Alarms and operating condition | Review of reported alarms, noise, heat and the conditions in which the fault occurs. |
| Filters and components | Assessment of whether cleaning, servicing or a component replacement is appropriate. |
| Functional and safety checks | Checks relevant to the agreed work before the device is released. |
Electrical Safety Testing (EST) assesses electrical safety; it does not replace oxygen-output or flow assessment. Confirm whether EST and a service report are included for your device.
Philips EverFlo and PAPLAB service enquiries
For a Philips EverFlo or PAPLAB miniJ5, include the exact model variant and serial number. For an EverFlo alarm, describe the indicator colour, sound and when it occurs. We confirm parts support and repair feasibility after reviewing your device details.
If you need equipment while yours is being assessed, view our Philips EverFlo rental information and ask about current availability. For a portable unit, browse portable oxygen equipment information and check repair acceptance separately.
Prepare these details for your repair enquiry
Brand and model · Serial number · Fault or alarm description · Photos of the device label · Purchase details if available · Your town and preferred receiving location.
Tell us whether the fault is intermittent or continuous and whether another repairer has previously worked on the device. This helps the team plan the assessment; it does not guarantee a remote diagnosis.
How to arrange a repair
- Send your device details and fault description.
- Confirm the inspection arrangements and applicable initial charges.
- Receive the assessment and proposed repair costs.
- Approve chargeable work before repair proceeds.
- Arrange collection or return after the agreed work and checks are completed.
What does oxygen concentrator repair cost?
There is no single price for every fault. Ask for the inspection fee and a quotation covering the work recommended for your device. Confirm parts, labour, testing and transport charges before approving a repair.
Warranty repair and out-of-warranty service
Warranty eligibility is assessed against the applicable manufacturer terms. Approval of a replacement part does not automatically cover local labour or transport. Medien will explain relevant charges before chargeable work proceeds.
Read our Warranty & Service Policy for details.
How long does a repair take?
Ask for an estimated completion date after assessment. Timing depends on the fault, parts supply, approvals and testing. A single completion promise cannot apply to every repair.

Frequently asked questions
Can I send a machine purchased from another supplier?
Contact Medien with the model and purchase details first. Service acceptance and warranty arrangements must be checked before you send the device.
Can you check a Philips EverFlo that is alarming?
Send its model label and describe the alarm. We can advise assessment arrangements; an alarm photograph alone cannot establish the repair required.
Should I repair or replace my oxygen machine?
Request a repair quotation, then compare it with replacement options, expected downtime and continued parts support. A low purchase price alone does not establish which option suits your needs.
Can I arrange temporary oxygen equipment during repair?
Ask Medien about rental availability and suitability before booking the repair. Check Philips EverFlo rental availability. Availability and rental terms must be confirmed separately.
What information should I include in my enquiry?
Provide the brand, model, serial number, fault description, location, purchase date if known, and photographs of the label or alarm. Do not send patient medical records in the initial repair enquiry.
